The basics

Away Notes ("we", "us") lets you create and send digital greeting cards. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

Your content

You own the messages, photos, and content you create. By uploading content, you grant us a license to store and display it for the purpose of delivering your card. We won't use your content for anything else without your permission.

Acceptable use

Don't use Away Notes to:

• Send harassing, threatening, or illegal content
• Send cards to people who haven't consented to receive them
• Upload content you don't have the right to use
• Attempt to exploit or attack our systems
• Automate card sending for spam purposes

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Payments

The Express send option costs $1.50 per card, processed through Stripe. All sales are final. If something goes wrong with delivery due to a bug on our end, contact us and we'll make it right.

Affiliate links

Some gift suggestions on Away Notes include affiliate links. If you purchase through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend products that fit the occasion.

Card delivery

We do our best to deliver every card, but we can't guarantee delivery to every email provider or phone carrier. Email filters, spam folders, and carrier restrictions are outside our control.

Liability

Away Notes is provided as-is. We're not liable for missed deliveries, data loss, or any damages beyond the amount you paid us for the specific transaction in question.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new terms. Major changes will be announced on the site.
